The Executive Director of the Chamber, Matthew Mandell, was appointed to the ReOpen Westport Covid-19 Task Force. He was put in charge of the Restaurants and Deli section of town. He worked to get Westport's restaurants open for outdoor dining as part of the Governor's plan.

The Chamber then set up and ongoing list of all the restaurants that met the standards and opened up for outdoor dining.
